The intercity network

1- North to south line (A)

This line starts at pasdaran in the north and terminates to the sofeh bus terminal in the south. The alignment passes by baharestan- kaveh- chehar bagh –chehar bagh abbassi – chrhar bagh bala –hezar jerib . the length of alignment is 20.2 km and most of the way is underground. The stations on the way are 21 stops all located underground . this line is divided to 5 sections.

a) section 1- south west

starts at pasdaran station and ends in kaveh terminal.The length of the way is7.7 km. The method of operation is cut and cover with a rectangular profile (8*6km).The depth is 8-1okm From the surface operated in 3 separated sections. This section was added to north to east line in 2004.Therefore the whole way was increased from 12.5 lcm to 20/2 km.

b) section 2- northern

starts at kaveh station and continues to moddares station with a rectangular profile (8 * 6km). the depth is 8 to 10.km . the method of operation is cut and cover and the length of the way is 2.6km . the executive operation is terminated in 2003 and it is ready for superstructure and rail installment.

c) section 3 – middle section

this section starts at keveh avenue on the opposite of Baboldasht bus terminal and ends in Shariaty station . the entrance shaft of TBM is here in kaveh avenue with a circular profile having two separated tunnels each one with 6 m diameter

and a depth of about 14 to 18m from the ground. Two all automatic T.B.M systems made by herrnkecht company are achieving the operation with a length of 5.5 km. The manufactured segments needed for the job are manufactured in a company located on Dolat Abad and transported to the background shafts of T.B.M. The remained soil from this section is transported to the suburban parts . crossing the river this alignment goes 14m down the river bed and shifts 10.m upward the sio-se-pol. (bridge). The tow TBM machines belong to E.U.R.O and up to the end of operation will be at the service of contractor.

d) Section4- Shariaty , Azadi

Starts at shariaty station and ends in Azadi station. The length of the line is 620 m. The way is horseshoe shape operated by rodheder machine in the depth of 14 to 16 m from the surface

e) Section 5- northern section

Starts at Azadi station and ends in sofeh station. The operation is achieved by two semi – Automatic Rodlteder machines with the method of N.A.M.T. the profile is Horseshoe shape and the diameter is 6(m). The length of the way is 3-8km and the operation is synchronizingly achieved with the middle section.

 

2- East to west line

This alignment starts khomeni shahr and continues like a shallow tunnel under the kohan-Dezh avenue. The way passes down the north to east way in the Emam Hossein station then it enters the sepah avenue. It continues to hafez Ave, under the northern corner of Imam square. The alignment then locates under Hatef Ave. and continues to the north. The train appears on earth in Laleh square . It crosses the square on a bridge and continues the bridge up to the parking . the whole alignment is 22 km long and stops at 20 different stations.

 

   

The suburban network

1- The south eastern alignment

the alignment starts from a station in common with the north to south alignment. It is in Azadi station located in the south of zayandeh rude river. This alignment continues in a tunnel down the daneshgah blvd and comes up to the surface passing the Islam Abad station. The rest of the way continues on the earth to the suburban regions.

The alignment shifts to the west after the Islam Abad station. It is placed along the gaz Avenue and the Train will be on the surface until the Dorche Town .

Then the way continues passing a bridge on zayandeh rud, it enters the Dorche then along with the Isfahan water pipes goes by Flavarjan town and terminates in Flavarjan station.

The way continues in Foolad shahr ground and gav-pise neck way . The whole way is on the surface and ends in Zarin-shahr.

The length of the way is 43 km. It's got 13 stations on the way. The way is given priority and the studies on phase I is completely achieved ready to be committed to the investor.

2- Isfahan to shahin shahr line

The line starts at kaveh bus terminal and ends in the north of Shahin-Shahr.The length of alignment is 21/9 km and the studies on the project is being continued.

 

3- Isfahan to Baharestan line

The line starts from sofeh bus terminal and ends in Baharestan.The length of alignment is 16 km and the studies on the project is being continued.
